1. Who We Are
travaliz.com is a travel search demo application that aggregates flight, hotel, and car rental data via the Amadeus Self-Service API. It is built and maintained by thebozgun.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the service:
- Search queries: destination, dates, and passenger counts entered during a search.
- Booking data: name, email, phone, and last 4 digits of card number submitted during a demo booking. Full card details are never stored.
- Usage data: pages visited and session information stored in a secure HTTP-only cookie.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To display relevant flight, hotel, and car rental results.
- To generate and display a demo booking reference number.
- To improve the application and fix bugs.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
- RapidAPI: flight, hotel and car rental data is fetched via RapidAPI (Skyscanner, Google Flights, Hotels.com, Booking.com). Their privacy policies apply to data transmitted during API calls.
- Railway: the application is hosted on Railway. Server logs and request metadata may be retained per Railway's data processing terms.
- Supabase: user authentication is handled by Supabase. Their privacy policy applies to authentication data.
5. Demo Nature of This Service
travaliz.com is a demonstration project. Bookings made through this platform are not real reservations. No payments are processed. Booking data is stored temporarily in an ephemeral SQLite database and is not retained between server restarts.
6. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to maintain application state. This cookie contains no personally identifiable information. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Data Retention
Search queries and booking data are stored only for the duration of the server session. No long-term data retention is in place for this demo application.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data. To exercise any of these rights, use the contact information in section 10 below.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
